K.T Bradbury writes the following about The Magician's Nephew :
The Magician's Nephew is about tho children who journey to the world of Narnia by magical rings. But something wicked is afoot, something that would wreak havoc in our world. The Witch has the power to destroy our world like she did her own.
I rate the illustrations seven point three. This is becausethey helped you imagene what is taking placein the story, although I have not rated them higher as there were not enough of them and they were not coloured.
I rate the story plot eight point seven because it was quite interesting and the book was not too long. But it sometimes drifted from the story. Also I think it was too wordy and too descriptive.
I recommend this book to nine to thirteen year olds. The Magician's Nephew is definatly true to to it's genre of a fantasy adventure story and I look forward to reading more of C.S Lewis's books.
