The magicians nephew is a perfect example of a fantasy adventure.
It involes magic and imagination. My rating for this book would be 8.9 because the storyline is amazing and very detailed. The reason why i wouldn't go higher is that C.S Lewis keeps writing about uninportant things.
The story itself starts off with two young London children that become friends, but when they come across Digory's uncle's attic study, strange things start to happen.
All a sudden Polly dissapears! How after this Digory follows, is something to find out. When they meet an evil witch, a London cabby with his horse and a magnificent lion they're beyond supprised. The magical land created over an hour hasgot to have problems in it, in this one what is it?
Also the illustrations in this book are great they are so neatly drawn and very detailed so thats why I gave them a 9.6. That's high but I didn't go higher because I think they would have been better in colour.
Altogether this book is great.
It is suitable for all ages that would be able to read and if people like fantasy, then it would be the perfect book for them.
