Miss A Pink writes the following about The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia, Book 1) :
The magicians nephew is about two kids called Polly and Digory. One day they go up into the long roof across the terraced houses. They end up in Digory's Uncles study. From there they go on many exciting discoveries in many different worlds. But will Digory's mother get better?

This book is an adventure story. I would recommend it to kids aged 10-14.

My favourite part of the book was when Aslan gave Digory the magic apple. My worst part was when it just went on and on about stuff we didn't really need to know.

I rated this book 8.3 because the story plot was good, but the author went on a bit to much. I rated the illustrations 7.7 because they were very artistic but there could have been more of them.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would like to read the others in the series.
