Jocelyn writes the following about Hey! Get Off Our Train :
The story “Hey! Get Off Our Train” is about a boy who went to sleep and his dream was about him and his dog conducting his train. First, the Elephant came by and said” Please let me come with you on your train. Someone is coming to cut off my tusks!” Next, the seal came by and said” Please let me some with you on your train. If I stay in the sea, I won’t have enough to eat because people are making the water all dirty!” Third, the crane cam along and said” Please let me someone your train. I live in the marshes and they are draining out all of the water!” Then, the tiger came along and said” Please let me come on your train. They are cutting down the forest where I live!” Last, the polar bear says” Please let me some on your train. I live in the North and somebody wants my fur to make out of a coat!” Now let me talk about the books features. I think this book surely had succeeded of getting a parents choice awards. Also, I think that this book says a message to” stop destroying our animal’s habitats because they are an important part of our environment too”!
