When I first started It's Like This, Cat, I thought it would be lame because I got it from my school library.It turns out it was a fabulous book about Coca-Cola & record players. I think this book depends on maturity level more than age. I read it when I was 9 but I am different than most kids. It is about a kid named Todd (?) who's dad is a lawyer & he tells all of his thoughts to Cat the cat that he got from a cat lady. His life takes several turns, but Cat stays by him the whole time.
