Mr.Phobia writes the following about Fear This Book :
I like how the author helped kids get over their fears with some humor ,facts and some non- scary facts. I disliked how they might give people nightmares with some scary facts like the one on page 42-43(Mondo Monsters)the scary part of this page is the report that there was a zombie walking in Haiti in 1936. The weirdest fear is triskaidekaphobia. I would suggest my best friends Tarun and Andy to read it. I liked this book because there’s a lot of facts like most kids have at least one nightmare a week .The funniest part is where Bloodthirsty Vampire was scared the number thirteen and that’s where they explained triskaidekaphobia.. I just don’t get why it said to knock on wood which is on the superstitions page. & I can’t find out why most writers die while writing their ninth song. If I get scared I would read this book to help me. The illustrations were excellent!
