Sammi writes the following about secret of grim hill :
Spells and magic pour out of this wonderful, fun- filled book. This enchanted book you’ve might of guessed already, is : The Secret of Grim Hill. When I read the back of the book, I knew that I would enjoy the book from the start. I was always a person who enjoyed a good fairy tale fiction book and this was the perfect book and The Secret of Grim Hill was just the one I needed. After the big vote, The winning fiction book was: The Secret of Grim Hill! If you like a magical story, then you’ ll love this story.

Cat Peters, a young girl who recently joined Darkmont High, a school that Cat deeply hates. No matter what she does, trouble always find its way to Cat. Before Cat gets a chance to explain, it already seems as if all the teachers hate her. Cat has absolutely no friends except Jasper Chung, a friendly neighbor who skipped a grade. Cat thinks she’s saved when she sees a poster saying if your school’s soccer team wins, then they get to change school to Grimoire high. It was Cats dream, she would do anything to get out of Darkmont high, she went to practice almost everyday on Grim hill. Sookie, Cats little sister, warns her that something is wrong with Grim hill and hates it when Cat drags her up for practice.
One day, after a party Cat had just hosted, Sookie mysteriously disappears. Cat gets Jasper to help her they go through a lot of trouble and the only way to find Sookie again, is a weird and wacky way to deal with witches.......
