Jocelyn writes the following about The Widows Broom :
The book “The Widows Broom” that I had read today had beautiful illustrations and a great author I thought! The Widows Broom is about a widow named Minna Shaw and one morning when she woke there was a witch in her yard all bruised up. The witch was there because her broom did not last forever. Next morning Minna Shaw woke up and the witch was gone leaving her broom behind. Minna Shaw would use the broom and then one day “bam” the broom started doing all of the chores buy it self. Also, his books that he writes has very big, eye catching, and beautiful illustrations! Last, Chris Van Allsburg has the best picture books I ever read and I had already read about three of his books!
