Crentaya writes the following about Blood is Thicker :
Do you love your family and friends, but sometimes get into fights with them? Well this book Blood is Thicker puts you into the characters’ minds and what they’re going through. It also leads you to where you think before you act. Put yourself into Hakeem’s shoes and realize you have to move away from your loved ones and move from California to Detroit and your dad has cancer. You’re there in Detroit and you find out that someone’s acting a little different and strange from what they have been before. His name is “Savon” and he’s you’re cousin. Hakeem finds out that there have been robberies and some how he knew it was Savon because Savon gave him the clues to figure it out. They finally became… I’m not going to tell you the rest because you’re going to have to find out by reading this book. I will rate this book a 10 because this author Paul Langan will express the feelings even though it’s fiction it sounds really real. You should check out the Blufrod High series because those books have a lot of slang words. Blufrod High will leave you clues to figure out at that moment. It doesn’t have many hard words. In the book you can connect, too. This book will have you flipping the pages because it’s too good. In my opinion Blood is Thicker had my mind blowing. I will give it a five stars and a heads up!
