Alyssa writes the following about Fight for Life :
Do you like books about puppies? Well I recommend “Fight For Life” by Laurie Halse Anderson. This book is about a girl named Margaret but her friends call her Maggie. Maggie lives with her Grandmother. Maggie’s Grandmother is a vet and in this book she tries to save as many puppies as possible. Maggie is Gran’s receptionist. A receptionist is like a little helper. She keeps Gran organized. Also in this book there are a lot of sick puppies. If are wondering why there are a lot of sick puppies then I insist you reading “Fight For Life” by Laurie Halse Anderson. In my opinion I think “Fight For Life” is a page turning and suspenseful book. This book does let you put it down. Also this book is not only page turning and suspenseful but is also a tour of learning. This book teaches you about what a vet’s life is all about and also what a vet needs so that way the can keep an animal alive. Also this book can be realistic because many puppies do get sick. If you like books about puppies I think you should read this book. By Alyssa Murphy
