Book Review

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a 506 paged Realistic Fiction novel by Mark Twain.
This book takes place near the Mississippi river with main characters Huckleberry Finn and Jim, a slave. Huckleberry Finn is a boy whose father is in jail. Huck lives with a widow. When his father gets out of jail, he makes Huck drop out of school and live with him. Huck fakes his death and runs away on a raft down the Mississippi River. On his way, he meets a slave named Jim, and they go down the river together. They have many adventures, including meeting a king and a duke.
I would rate this book a 9 because it is a very interesting read, but there are a lot of things that I would change. I would change the fact that there is a lot of discrimination towards African Americans and different ways of speaking.
