Bliss writes the following about Naya Nuki :
Naya Nuki was written by Kenneth Thompson and Illustrated by Eunice Hundley. Naya Nuki was a cousin to Sacagewea and was captured by another Indian tribe with Sacagewea but soon escaped. She tried to come home by herself in a land full of danger. She was guided by the stars and helped by no one. She had to know the skills of survival and face danger in the face.
