Bri writes the following about Freak the Mighty :
I highly recommend Freak the Mighty because it combines humor, suspense and twists in a way that makes you want to stay up all night and read. I would definitely give this outstanding book 5 stars out of 5, because Rodman Philbrick’s characters form a story that leaves you clamoring for the sequel Max the Mighty. This is truly an amazing book.

This book shows how Max, an oversized seventh- going into eighth-grader, changes from a low confidence bully to an adventurous friend after meeting Kevin (Freak), a small boy with a big brain. These two people couldn’t be more different, but together they are undefeatable, going on many adventures and fighting crime. All is starting to be good until Max gets word that Killer Kane is out of jail. If you’re a fan of adventure, than you should read this book.
