Izzye writes the following about Only Emma :

Only Emma Only Emma is a phenomenal book! I think the age level would be 8-11 years old. The main concept of the book is friendship with her best friend Cynthia and also about hate and how much she hates Anthony. The story is about a girl named Emma and her parents got a divorce. Emma and her mom moved to a condo. There’s only one problem, Emma’s old neighbors, the Scarpetto’s. They have a little boy named Anthony. His grandmother is very sick in Tuscan so his parents want to go help her get better. But, instead of taking Anthony, he is staying with Emma and her mom. Even though he hogs the VCR and drools on her guest bed, is Anthony really that bad?
