Ebonnie Conyers writes the following about To Dance: A Ballerina's Graphic Novel :
"To Dance: A Ballerina's Graphic Novel" by Siena Cherson Siegel and illustrated by Mark Siegel is one of the most beautiful and stunning novels i've read. It's a heartfelt story of a girl named Siena Siegel's dream of becoming a dancer. She loves dancing. It started when Siena was six years old, she dreamed of dancing and dance classes. "To Dance" has a tribute paid to famous ballets, dancers, and ballet companies. Siena gets older and advances in her classes as the story progresses. Throughout the book her love of dance shows. This novel shows the feelings of what it's like as a dancer to view a ballet as part of an audience. It will give any reader the insight of being a ballerina. Not only that, but also shows how important it is to do what you love and follow your dreams.
