This book is about a normal over weighted teenage girl named Marcy and she hates school, her father, and how she is fat. Her world was always jumbled up, then one day, a new english teacher came. Ms.Finney was always a great teacher, but only for a few months. Later in the school year, she got fired, just because she never said the "Pledge of Alligence". All the kids who knew Ms.Finney had meetings and discussions about how to get her back. Joel, Marcy's crush, was very interested about the discussions. Then one day, they judged and talked about the reasons why Ms.Finney got fired and why she shouldn't have. After all the discussing, she won. She walked up to the mic. and said that she that she was sorry then quit.
