The Not-Just-Anybody Family is an ok book. Personally, I thought that the book was a little rushed in the sense that it just jumped to the next small or large event in the book. The main idea was very interesting and well crafted though. The only thing that I would add, would be a little bit more detail to the highlights of the story. All in all, it was something that people who love good emotional stories would like to read. Betsy Byars did a great job in writing the big picture though.
