Michelle writes the following about The House on Hackman's Hill :
Are you looking for a story that will make you not want to turn at the lights before you go to bed? If so, The House on Hackman's Hill just might be the book for you. Jeff and Debbie are visiting relatives when they hear that a house near by is haunted by a mummy. An older man from the town claims to know all about it. Jeff and Debbie think they are up to finding out the truth about the mummy and the older man's story. However, they do ot know they will be up against an ancient Egyptian curse and Anubis, the god and guardian of the dead. Will they find the mummy and survive? You will have to read The House on Hackman's Hill to find out. I really liked the author's suspenseful plot. I found this book really hard to put down. My favorite part was when the older man told about the night he heard a scratching noise on his door. I think others would like this story because each chapter ends with a cliffhanger. You will want to read on to see if Jeff and Debbie will make it through the night.
