It is a fascinating story about an intensly curious and intelligent girl, living with her fragmented family, but whose brutual honest observations get her in trouble with her classmates. The best thing that i found about the book is the sensivity with which the author has described the desperation and lonoliness of harriet, first when her nany leaves her and secondly when her friends turn against her.
Apart from these, still the story turns boring at some points, which repels the attention of the reader.
