Xx Little_Mizz_Bookworm xX writes the following about Bras and Broomsticks :
This book revolves around Rachel Weinstein, B-list-ed, braced faced fourteen-year-old. Her life is almost perfect, but she always seems to draw the second string in life. Then she notices the green suede sneakers, the ones she had been admiring at Bloomie’s last week, but cost an arm and a leg to buy. Now they were on her feet. So of course, Rachel calls her mom to thank her for the awesome shoes, but instead of going to an A-list party at a pizza place she was invited to, she has to go home. “It’s urgent.” Her mom tells her. Why, why, why?!? She goes home, wondering what’s so wrong only to find out her mom and her little sister, Miri, are witches. Why couldn’t Rachel have inherited the supernatural powers? Her life could have been picture perfect! And Miri won’t even do a teeny little love spell for her! Maybe, just maybe, she will find she has powers of her own. Or she could change Miri’s mind…an exicting and hysterical read! Enjoy :) ********WARNING: I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR GIRLS TWELVE AND UP!****************
