Kaitlin writes the following about The Egypt Game :
The Egypt is a really good book. It was written by Zilpha Kealty Snyder. It starts of a s a realistic fiction, then becomes a mystery. I would recomend this book for boys and girls nine and over.
I gave this book a ten out of ten because the story line is creative, the charcters are realitic and the book doesn't have many slow parts. Every book has its ups and downs, but this book's downs are very small. The Egypt Game is about two girls who invent a game about Egypt. They start playing it in the backyard of a store whose owner is very mysterious. They get six members and then kicks into the mysteries They've got all cooped up inside their houses/apartments for some reason. then, a mysterious thing starts happening with the oracle. At the end of the book, it's christmas time and they get a surprise visit from a friend.
It is a must read for boys and girls who love realisic fiction and/or mysteries. Snyder has come up with one of the best books I have ever read, and I have read a lot of books.
