Natalie writes the following about The Witch of Blackbird Pond :
At first I didn't think that I would like this book, but I was wrong. The book "The Witch of Blackbird Pond" is a book for all ages. I would give it a 10 out of ten rating. It is a very good book, but the beginning and the end parts of the book can be a little hard to understand. The genre for this book is historical fiction.
This book is about a girl named Katherine Tyler who also goes by Kit. After her grandfather died she had to move in with her Aunt Rachel in Wethersfield,Connecticut.Life suddenly became more difficult, and she had to learn to do things by herself. Although she wasn't used to not having servants to do everything for her, she worked hard to prove to her uncle that she could help around the house and become useful. Everything goes perfectly well until she meets the "Witch of Blackbird Pond".
After she becomes friends with Hannah Tupper,"the witch", she gets caught by her uncle, and is forbbiden to see her. But, that still doesn't stop her from visiting Hannah. After several visits, the neighbors start to get suspicious and accuse Kit of Commiting witchcraft.
