In reading, I chose a wonderful novel called Crispin and the Cross of Lead. It's a tale about a boy on the run for his life. On his jouney, he makes a few shocking discoveries about himself and others. This book reminds me of the Hairy Potter series because the plot slowly unfolds and fits together like a puzzle. This book could not have ended any other way, and it ended perfectly.
On a scale one to five, i would give this book a four point five. I chose this rating for Crispin because the plot and dialect are fantastic. The only reason I said this book was not a perfect five was because I felt lost in a wave of details! If I were Bear ( a man Crispin met on his journey) I would not think Crispin could survive. This book was excellent, but to truly understand how great of a book it was, you have to read it, so get up and go read Crispin!
