Joel writes the following about A Year Down Yonder [UNABRIDGED] :
1. The book that I chose to read for my Newbery Honor Award was A Year Down Yonder. The author who wrote my book is Richard Peck and the genre of my book is realistic fiction. Some parts in my book are confusing because it would jup back in forth from one place to the other.
2. If I were going to give this book a rating, I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would give it a 4 because a lot of parts are funny and some parts are boring. A funny part is when grandma poured hot glue on a kids head. A boring part is when grandme goes to the D.A.R.
3. This book is about Mary Alice who spends a year down with her grandma. She lives in Chicago and now she's with her grandma in Southern Illinois. I hope you like A Year Down Yonder.
