Colin writes the following about Wringer (Newbery Honor Book) :
Wringer was an interesting book that I thought could have been a little better. I thought that there was a lack of details and excitement.

Wringer was about a 10-year old boy named Palmer. Palmer lives in a town where they shoot, then wring pigeons. Before Palmers tenth birthday( when he becomes a wringer ) he finds a pigeon and secretly keeps it as a pet. Palmer does not want to become a wringer, but is afraid of what would happen if he doesn't become a wringer.

I would give this book 3.5 stars out of 5 becuse the story did not keep me interested. I also did not like the ending of the story because I felt like the book just stopped in the middle of the story. If you would like to find out what happens to palmer, Then go out and get the book Wringer.
