ben writes the following about A Long Way from Chicago :
My book is called " A long Way from Chicago." the author of this book is Richard Peck. The book is about a boy and a girl visiting there grandma. Their name of the charecters is Mary Alcie and Joey. The most exciting event and my favorit is.....NOT GOING TO TELL, you have to read this book. I really like this book and I recomend this book to sixth graders and above. This book is an adventure story told by Joey. There is a sequel to this book and it is called " A Year down Yonder."If you like books with wild grandmas, this is a book for you. in this book I would have changed Mary Alice to a boy so Joey would have a friend. The theme of this book is family.
