Mosier writes the following about Among The Hidden :
Luke, like many others is a shadow child,a third.He must live his life a secret,since he was forbidden by the population police.Luke has never been to a school or even had a birthday party.Hes never had a firend.The only people he knows are his mother,his father,his two brothers Mark and Matthew.Hes lived his entire life in hinding but now he can't even see out his window due to new housings developement replacing the woods next to his family's farm.He must stay inside at all times and to never to be seen.Then one day he sees a face and soon to discover shes a third child just like him,Jen.She is willing to risk everything, maybe even her life to be free and to come out of the shadows. Does Luke dare to join her in this dangerous plan?
