In the Tale of Despereaux,Despereaux, has to save the beautiful Princess Pea from the rat Roscuro and the serving girl named Miggery Sow. So, Desperaux has to go through the dungeon and meet many challenges to save them.
I would give this book a five out of five because the pictures helped me visualize it better. Also because it teaches the lesson of forgiveness.
This book was heartening and a terrific fantasy for grades four through six.
