Vampire Mountain by Darren Shan is a book I highly recommend. In this book, there had been an incident at one of their waypoints. There had been a vampire attacked by one of the vampeneze the sworn enemies of the good vampires. Broken coffins and vampire blood were strewn on the ground. A vampire named Gavner said it was the blood of the vampeneze, but he was wrong. Larten Crepsley told him that it was the blood of a vampire.
I thought it was cool how the author included himself in the story. The boy Darren is a half-vampire. There were wolves that had jumped on him. Darren named one Streak and the pup Rudi like Rudolph. To find out why the wolves were so nice to Darren check out the 4th book in the CIRQE DU FREAK series. Take my advice this book is awesome.
