danielle writes the following about Down a Dark Hall :
Down a dark hall is about a fourteen year old girl named Kit. Kit goes to a pirvate boarding school.the school is called Blackwood and leaves her best friend Tracy behind.Kit doesn't want to go to her school because of her mothers honeymoon.Kit arrives at the school and Madame Duret welcomes her to Blackwood.Madame Duret is a French woman who runs, owns, and is the principal at Blackwood.There are only two teachers at Blackwood named Jules Duret. Kit has a crush on her son. The other teacher is Professor Farley.Kit thought there were going to be about fifty girls at the school, but only foir girls arrived at the school. sandy Masson becomes Kit's closest friend. Ruth Stark and Lynda Hannah arrive to Blackwood. Kit begans to have nightmares of the school. Then Kit finds out the secret of Blackwood.
Kit escapes from a fire at Blackwood and saves Lynda from the fire and she sees her father in spirit form.
