Jess Aarons greatest ambition is to be the fastest runner in the fifth grade. He's been practicing all summer and can't wait to see his classmates' faces when he beats them all.But on the first day of school,a new kid, a new girl, boldly crosses over to the boys' side of the playground and outruns everyone. That's not a very promising beginning for a friendship, but Jess and Leslie Burke become inseparable. It doesn't matter to Jess that Lelie dresses funny,or that her family has a lot of money but no TV.Leslie has imagination.Together, she and Jess create Terabithia,a magical kingdom in the woods where the two of them reign as a king and queen, and their imagination set the only limits. Then one morning a terrible tragedy occurs.Only when Jess is able come to grips with this tragedy does he finally understanding the strenth and courage Leslie has given him.
But I can react to this story this story is good for a lot of students.Alot of students can react to it.Cause I know when I first start reading it I thought the story was not going to be good for me to read. This story is mainly about friendship.Friendship is good in life and I know everyone has a best friend like Jess and Leslie were best friend.Friendship is when you and your friend always keep up with each other. And students steel bully each other bullying is not a good friend for people. But I really love reading this book and I will love for everyone to read it.
