I really liked the book, "The Giver". The author's purpous, I do believe, has something to do with memory. Every literary element was pretty good, in my opinion. The main character of this story was Jonas, and if I were to create a new society with him, I might do it because there are some things I would like to change that are almost impossible now.
This book would have been perfect, but it could use a little bit more happiness to it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantastical storys(fantasy), but still like to use logical conclusions. I give this book a 4 star rating out of 4.
