Thunder Cave is an awesome book, it’s full of excitement adventure and you will never want to put it down. Jake is a boy who has a pretty rough life. His parents are divorced and his dad is all the way in Africa studying elephants while his mom is about to get remarried. But just before she can get married something happens that causes everything to go wrong. Before you know it Jake is on his way to Africa to find his father. He has some pretty tough challenges on the way but soon he finds a man named Supeet who helps him find his father. After several weeks of searching he finds him. But now he isn’t so sure he wanted to, not after what’s about to come. Jake, Supeet, and his dad are going to have to face some situations they never wanted to face. Will they make it?
I would give this book an 8 because is a very interesting book and I enjoyed every minute of it. Its so exciting and you start to really like the characters right away. The only thing I would change is the beginning it’s a little slow, but don’t let that stop you from reading it because it is excellent! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great book.
