Nat* writes the following about The Ashley's :
Have you ever wanted to be in the clique but never really fit in? Well that’s what a girl named Lauren is feeling. She used to be a little nerdy, not so great looking, and short on money, but this all turned around in one summer when her dad’s website took off, and Laurens looks turned around. Now that she has good looks and plenty of money she is ready to take on the Ashley’s. The Ashley’s are the most popular girls at school, and include Lili, A.A., and Ashley the leader. All have the name Ashley and all pretty, with very wealthy families. Lauren’s plan includes, Step 1: get inside, Step 2: split the group Step 3: total breakdown. But will she never even achieve step 1? Or will she decide to stay in the group and earn complete popularity only if you read the book will you find out. I rate this book a 9.5 because it was hooking and very fun to read. Also it is well written, and relatable. If I could change one thing in this book it would be that Lauren would have more friends to hang out with besides the Ashley’s, because then she would have someone to talk to and to be comfortable with.
