bonnett94 writes the following about Best Foot Forward :
The book I chose to write about is called Best Foot Forward. Joan Bauer is the author of this book. There are 183 pages and it is fiction.
Jenna lives in Chicago with her mom and sister. Her Dad went to jail when Jenna was younger. Once in a while Jenna will go to a meeting to talk about her dad. Jenna works at a foot store that she is very interested in. She works for Gladstones Footwear. Mrs. Gladstone owns Gladstones Footwear. She took over the company from her husband after he passed away. One day at work a kid steals a pair of shoes. They catch the kid and make him work there. The kids name is Tanner. Tanner is forced to work in the back were all of the shoes are stored. Jenna at first can’t stand the kid. Jenna then finds out hes not that bad. Next Gladstones footwear has a sale. The sale is a wreck and no one knows what is on sale. Jenna drives to another store where she finds out Gladstones Footwear is being closed down. Mrs. Gladstones is shocked and won’t allow this to happen. What can Jenna do to help? Will Gladstones Footwear be closed forever? Only you can find out by reading.
I highly do not recommend this book. I give it a 5 out of 10. This is the rating I give it because it was not exciting. Most of the time they were talking about selling shoes. The whole time while reading this I was waiting for a good problem and it never happened. If I were the author I would change the whole foot store theme because it was very boring. On the top of the book they should put a label “warning totally boring and waste of time.”
