It is Harry's second year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. After a while at Hogwarts, strange things start happening. Like writing in blood on the walls and people getting petrified. Harry, Ron and Hermione are trying to find out who is making all of this terrible things happen. They start to get clues from teachers, and Harry had found a journal that allowed him to talk to someone named Tom Riddle that was there when the chamber was first opened. He found out a ton of clues from Tom. Finally, they find out that the Chamber Of Secrets has been opened again. Harry found out where the entrance to the chamber was and Harry, Ron, and Hermione all entered the chamber. When they got in the Chamber Of Secrets, they meet up with a monster and have to defeat the monster to get out. Will Harry make it through the chamber or will that of been his last year at Hogwarts?
I would rate this book a 10 because it was very interesting and detailed. All of the Harry Potter books tell a bunch of details about every scene. If I could change something, I would change the time in the chamber. I think more of the book should have been when they are in the chamber. I think it would have been more interesting like that.
