sam roberts writes the following about Guardians of Gahool :
“Good light”, said Soren to Gylfie before he went to bed. The characters in Capture, by Kathryn Lasky, say “Good light” because they are owls. I liked this book because it was suspenseful, involved owls, and also took place in mysterious places. The main characters are Soren, Gylfie, Twilight, and Digger. Most of the story takes place in St. Aggious is a place where evil owls brain wash other owls into doing what they want. The book begins when Soren and Gylfie are captured by a St. Aggious patrol and taken there. The general of St. Aggious is trying to moon blink all the owls. Moon blinking is when you stare at the moon and lose your mind. Soren and Gylfie must escape to warn other owls of the danger before its to late. The problem is that they don’t know how to fly yet and aren’t allowed to learn. The owls meet many friends along the way. I hope after reading this you will read it too, and enjoy it as much as I did.
