The most important event in the book The Gold Cadallac by Mildred D. Taylor is when dad byes a new cadallac. He bought it with the money they saved for a new house. Every body appriciated him expect for his wife. She was not happy at all. She never took a ride in the car. But at the she rode in it to go to the south to family and friends.Dad had to switch cars with his cousin because he had got caught by a police and the police thought that they stole the car.When they were going back dad got his cadillac back. At the end dad sold the car and bought a cheep car and saved the rest money for the new house.
