Khayla Johnson writes the following about The Borden Tragedy :
The Borden Tragedy is a great book. I liked this book because it is a great mystery and you will never get bored while reading this book. This book is full of surprises especially the ending. I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because at no point in the story would you want to stop reading. This book is about the Borden families mysterious murders of Andrew and Abby Borden. Andrew was a loving father of two young ladies, Emily was the oldest and Lizzie was daddy's little girl. Abby was Andrew's second wife, his first wife died a while ago. They were a regular family like everyone else, until Thursday, August 4, 1892 when Abby and Andrew Borden were killed. Abby was hit nineteen times in the back of her head with a hatchet, she was found on the floor of her bedroom in a puddle of blood. Andrew bordew was hit ten times in the head and face, he was found in the sitting room on the couch in what looked like a very uncomfortable position. The supects were Lizzie, andrew's youngest daughter, Bridget Sullivan, the housekeeper, and a mysterious person seen around their house. Their main suspect was in fact Lizzie because there seemed to be some problems with her story. When she went to trial the first time they didin't have any evidence and she was released. Then Bridget suddenly remembered seeing Lizzie burning a dress and she went back to trial, but they still didn't convict her. After Lizzie became a free woman both her and Emma sold their house and moved to the Hills. In 1905 Lizzie died at age 67 and then eight days later Emma Died at age 77. Next Bridget died at age 82 in 1948. The borden House still stands in Fall River today.
