Artemis Fowl THe Artic Incident by Eion Cofler is the book I read. This is book two of the series and I liked this book and I liked the first one. This book has two major problems, the first one is Artemis's dad was kidnapped. The other is a guy named Cudgeon is trying to take down the LEP.
In this book Artemis's dad is kidnapped by the Russian mafiay. Then the LEP have trouble with golins having illeagal guns that use batteries, so they though it was Artemis gave them to them. After they found out he didn't give them the batteries and was trying to get his dad back they agree to help him if he will help them. Next they encountered goblins on the way to get his dad and got a message from the LEP saying they needed to come back. So on the way they Get a bad guy named Mulch Diggumis to help them. Then they went under Koboi Laborties and broke in. If you want to know what happens next read the book!
