"Throw your zinger and we'll get out of here!" Abduction, by Peg Kehret, is about Matt Sholter being kidnapped by a father he's never met. Bonnie Sholter, Matt's older sister, has to put her life in danger just to save him. When Bonnie finds her brother with her step-dad, Matt's dad, Denny is going to try to shoot Bonnie because she keeps getting in the way of all of Denny's plans.
Bonnie sees her brother at a baseball game, and she gets the courage to go get him. Then she realizes that Denny Thurman is the person who stole Matt. Bonnie remembers how mean he was, and if she wants to save Matt they can both die. Denny Thurman is a very harmful man. He will do anything at any time just to get his way. My opinion of this book is that this book is very interesting. You never know what is going to happen next. I would recomend reading this book. I don't read a whole lot, so if I liked this book a lot of kids will, or even adults will.
