Emily writes the following about Sarah, Plain, and Tall :
I ABSOLUTLEY dislike this book because it was very boring and it was never exciting. I also dislike this book because it never was a cliff hanger. It also seemed like it was about the same thing the whole book. It was a terrible and I hope I never have to read again. Okay, anyway, here are some things that are about the book: It is a tale that is set in the 19 century. It is about a widowed farmer with two kids, Anna and Caleb. The farmer is trying to find a wife and the children fear that Sarah, the woman who is coming over to there house is getting homesick from Maine, especially from the ocean. Anna and Caleb are afraid she will not stay and when she goes off to town alone Caleb gets extra scared because his mother died at his childbirth so he is afraid Sarah will be gone for good when she goes off to town, because he is afraid something will happen to her.
