Savannah H writes the following about Emily Winsnap and the Monster of the Deep :

Emily Windsnap and the Monster of the Deep is about Emily Winsnap who is half human and half mermaid. She lives on All Points Island in the Bermuda Triangle. She and her best friend, Shona, accidentally wake up the Kraken! It’s up to them to stop the Kraken before it destroys All Points Island! I like this book because it’s suspenseful, adventurous, and it gives two sides of the story. You will like this book because it’s about friendship and just being yourself.
