NERD writes the following about Pendragon :
I think "Pendragon" is a great book. Have you ever wanted to go to a different world? Pendragon is about travelers which have the ability to travel to different worlds called territories. The book starts with a letter from Bobby Pendragon to his friend Mark telling him how he has been chosen to be a traveler. His entire family mysteriously disappears and he explains why. He was leaving to go to a championship basketball game when his uncle walks in and tells him he has to come with him. He takes him to an abandoned subway station and runs down onto the tracks, to find a door along them. He is then attacked by a pack of angry dogs. He jumps through the door and is pulled into a rock tunnel. He is thrown to another territory to find a civil war brewing... and they want him to lead it. Will he lead their war or jump into the portal and run home?
