caity-beth writes the following about Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes :
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes is about an 11 year old girl who lives in Hiroshema, Japan where the atom bomb was dropped. She started feeling sick and dizzy when she wauld run so she was taken to the Red Cross Hospital. She got visited by her bestfriend , Chizuko, and she told her about the thousand paper cranes. Sadako only made close to 700 cranes and she needed 1,000.She died on October 25,1955.

Some streangths in the book were that it kept me interested and I didn't want to put it down.It was also based on a true story that happened in WWII.there were no weaknesses in this book.

I realy recommend this book to everyone because it is great and you will love it.
