BJ writes the following about Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes :
This book was about a girl named Sadako she was born in 1943. Her mother said " she was born to be a runner ". The atom bomb had hit
Hiroshima,Japan When she was just an infant and she is trying to be on the track team for Junoir High but for some reason she thinks she's become ill but doesn't tell anybody in a long time . Until she passes out in the school yard so they took her to the hosbitaland that's when they found out that she leukemia and her friend came in and told her that if she folds a thousand paper cranes the godesses will grant her wish . Her freind Kinji told her that wasn't true and the next day she found out that he had died and she was very hurt . well she started folding cranes and got to 644 and then died . Now they have a monument to remember the brave girl .

Their are no weaknesses but strengths it has good visualization and is well written.

I reccomend this book to anyone who likes historical fiction.
