amanda writes the following about Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes :
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes is about a girl who is couragous, strong, and brave. When she was only an infant, the atom bomb was dropped.Radiation from the bomb exspelled every where.Nine years later Sadako started showing symtoms of the disease. She was then diognosed with leukimia.Sadako's friend tells Sadako that if she makes 1,000 paper cranes the gods will grant her wish of becoming better. So Sadako works hard.Poor Sadako ends up only making a few hundred cranes because she soon passes away.

The strenths of this book arethe description and figurtive language.Ibelieve there are no weaknesses in this book!!!It is very catchy. You will not want to put it down.

I recommend this book to others because it's a great opportunity to learn something new. You will love it!! I guarantee it!!!
