Jordan writes the following about Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes :
Sadako and the Thousand Paper cranes is a very well written book. It is a book about a young girl who gets Leukemia. She is in the bamboo class in 6th grade. Her best friend tells her a legland and says "If you make 1,000 paper cranes the gods' will grant you a wish." Sadako creats 644 paper cranes before she decends. Her parents give her a red silk kimono with gold flowers on it. Her classmates give her a kokeshi doll. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Sasaki. She has one sister named Mitsue. Her two brothers names are Eiji and Mashiro. Sadako is a very fast runner. Sadako watches her parents leave smiling one last time on October 25, 1955 and never sees them again.

There were no weekneses in tkis book at all!!!! I like the way this is written in historical fiction. I love the way she put so much deatil in this book. It is so descriptive.

I highly recomend this book. If you do or do not like historical fiction I think you will love this book. You can not stop reading it.
