Tenpest writes the following about Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes :
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes is about a girl named Sadako Chan Sasaki, that lived in Japan. She was 2 years old when an atom bomb was dropped in Hiroshima, Japan. She believed in good luck charms. Like a clear day and even a spider! Sadako was an avid runner. She wanted to try out for the junior high track team. As a result of the atom bomb she is diegnosed with Lukemia. Her best friend, Chuzuko tells her that if a sick person makes 1,000 paper cranes than the Gods will grant their wish. Sadako made close to 600. Then one day a horrible thing happend! Sadako Chan closed her eyes and never woke up.

The strengths in this story to me is the whole entire story! In my perspective there were not any weaknesses to me. The entire story is just great!

Yes, I do recomend this book. I recomend this book because this true story is during World War Two. It tells you how a girl felt and was experiencing. I recomend this book to everyone!
