Emily writes the following about Sadako and the thousand aper cranes :
Sadako and the thousand paper cranes is a book about a 11 year old girl who got a disease from the atom bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. She was only 2 at the time. she started felling signs but kept them a secrete until she fell in the school yard. They took her to the hospital were they found out she had luekimia. Her friend told her if you fold 1,000 paper cranes the gods woulfd grant you 1 wish. She had only folded 640 paper cranes befor falling asleep and never woke up again. One of the strenghts for this book is the describtive writting. To me there were no weaknesses. This is a good piece of writting. I would definatley recomened this book to eny one who loves a good book. This book is based on a true story. I could not put it down.Ot truly is a good book.
